Keep a count on your phone with Chronos
Chronos counts the days since a date that matters to you: a new job, a move, the day you quit. One large number on a calm screen, free with no account and no ads. Chronos Pro, a one-time purchase, puts the count in Home Screen widgets and reminds you on day 100 and day 1,000.
Questions
Does the count include today?
No. The count is the number of whole days between the two dates, so from March 1 to March 2 is 1 day. Some counters, Chronos among them, call the first day day 1, which gives one more.
How are months counted?
A month runs to the same day of the next month: from January 15 to March 15 is 2 months. From the 31st, a month ends on the last day of a shorter month, so a month after January 31 is February 28, or February 29 in a leap year.
Does it handle leap years and time zones?
Yes. It counts on the real calendar, so February 29 counts in leap years, and dates are whole days in your own time zone, so daylight saving time never changes a count.
Can I share a count?
Yes. The page address changes as you pick dates, so copying it shares the same count, worked out again on the day it is opened.
