Typing a time

Type a number, then the key for its unit: 7 h 30 m is seven and a half hours. Press + and type the next time to add it, or − to subtract it. Press = to put the last time on the tape.

The unit keys say what each number is, so there is no mode to set: 90 m reads as 1:30, and so does 1.5 h.

Fixing a line

Tap a line on the tape to change it. Stund marks it Editing: type the new time and press = to save it, or tap Cancel to leave it as it was. A line that came from clock times reopens the time pickers instead, with its start and end ready to change.

To remove a line, swipe it to the left, or tap it and choose Delete line. The total follows every change.

Time between two clock times

Tap the clock at the top of the screen, set the start and the end, and tap Add to tape. The time between them goes on the tape as its own line and keeps its clock times, so a week of shifts reads like a timesheet.

An end that is earlier than the start counts as the next day: 22:00 to 06:30 is 8:30.

Stund Pro

The calculator, the tape, clock times, and copying the total are free. Stund Pro adds decimal hours (7:30 = 7.50 h) with pay at your hourly rate, saved tapes, sharing a tape as text, and accent colors. It is a one-time purchase, not a subscription.

Restoring Stund Pro on a new phone

Open the Stund Pro screen and tap Restore purchase, signed in to the same Apple or Google account you bought it with. To get to that screen, tap Decimal hours with Stund Pro under the total, or open the More menu, then Settings, then Unlock Stund Pro.

For refunds, use Apple’s or Google’s refund request; for other billing issues, email us with the approximate purchase date, but never send payment-card details.

Where your tapes are kept

Tapes are stored only on your device. Stund has no account and no sync, so a tape does not appear on your other devices, and we cannot see or recover one. Uninstalling Stund removes your tapes from the device; Stund Pro can be restored afterwards.
