Stund – Privacy Policy

Who we are

Stund is a time calculator app operated by Norse Ventures LLC (“we”, “our”, “us”), based in Charleston, South Carolina, USA. This policy explains how information is handled when you use Stund.

Your tapes stay on your device

Stund does not require an account. The times you enter, your tapes and their names, your hourly rate, and your settings are stored on your device.

Stund does not upload them to a Norse Ventures account or backend, and contains no advertising and no tracking. The only usage information we collect ourselves is the anonymous statistics described below. When you share a tape, Stund hands its text to the app you choose and nothing is sent to us. Deleting Stund removes its local data.

If you back up your phone or tablet with iCloud or your Google account, that backup may include Stund’s data. The backup is kept by Apple or Google under your own account, and we cannot see it.

Anonymous usage statistics

Stund sends a few anonymous events to PostHog, our analytics provider, so we can see whether people use the app. The events are: the app was opened, a tape was used to work something out (it got a second line, or the time between two clock times), the Stund Pro offer was shown, Unlock or Restore was tapped and how it ended, and the app asked the App Store or Google Play to show its rating dialog. Each event carries the app and system version, whether Stund Pro is unlocked, whether the app came from the store or a test build, and a random identifier created on your device.

The events never include the times you enter, your totals, your tapes or their names, your hourly rate, your settings, your name, email, Apple or Google account, advertising identifier, or any text you enter. PostHog discards IP addresses for Stund and does not build a profile of you. The data is not used for advertising or shared with data brokers, and is kept for up to one year. Uninstalling Stund removes the random identifier.

Stund Pro purchases

Stund Pro is a one-time in-app purchase. Apple or Google processes the payment, and RevenueCat helps Stund load the price, complete the purchase, and restore it later. To do this, RevenueCat receives your purchase history and an anonymous app identifier that is not linked to your name or email. We never receive your payment-card number.

Email support

If you contact us, we receive your email address and whatever information you choose to include so we can respond.

Sharing and sale of information

We do not sell your personal information. Information is shared only with the service providers needed for purchases and anonymous usage statistics, when you direct us to share it, or when required by law.

Retention and your choices

Stund’s app data remains on your device until you change it, clear it, or uninstall the app. Purchase records are retained by Apple or Google and by RevenueCat under their own policies. Support emails are kept only as long as reasonably needed to answer your request and meet legal obligations.

You may contact us to request access to or deletion of personal information we hold about you.

Delete your Stund data

Your tapes and settings are kept on your device, and we hold no copy. Uninstalling Stund deletes them. On Android you can also clear them without uninstalling: open your device’s Settings, find Stund under Apps, and clear its storage. If your own iCloud or Google backup holds a copy, you can delete that backup in your Apple or Google account settings.

To delete the purchase data RevenueCat holds for Stund (your purchase history and anonymous app identifier), email support@norseventures.co with the subject “Delete my Stund data” and, if you can, the Google Play order number or App Store receipt email for your Stund Pro purchase. We delete the RevenueCat record within 30 days and confirm by email. Apple and Google keep their own purchase records under their policies, and Stund Pro can still be restored from them later.

The anonymous usage statistics are not tied to a person, so we cannot find yours to delete; uninstalling Stund removes the random identifier they carry.

Changes

We may update this policy as Stund changes. The effective date above shows when this version took effect.
