A habit that does not check itself off

Muninn checks a habit off when Apple Health or Photos shows it happened. Open Muninn to have it look again. If the habit is still not marked, check that Muninn can read what it needs:

For Health habits, open the Health app and go to Profile › Privacy › Apps › Muninn, then turn on the types the habit uses. For photo and video habits, go to Settings › Privacy & Security › Photos. With limited access, only the photos you have shared with Muninn count.

You can always check a habit off by hand.

Widgets

Touch and hold your Home Screen until the apps wiggle, tap Edit, then Add Widget, and search for Muninn. For the Lock Screen, touch and hold it, tap Customize, then the widget row under the clock. The same steps are in Muninn under Settings › Add the widget.

Tap a habit in a Home Screen widget to check it off without opening the app. If a widget looks out of date, open Muninn once and it will catch up.

Reminders

A habit can remind you at the time you pick, and only if it is not done yet. If reminders do not arrive, check that notifications for Muninn are allowed in Settings › Notifications.

Muninn Pro

Muninn is free for up to three habits. Muninn Pro adds unlimited habits, every Home Screen and Lock Screen widget, and automatic check-off for all your habits. It is available as a monthly or yearly subscription or a one-time lifetime purchase.

On a new iPhone or after reinstalling, open Settings in Muninn and tap Restore purchases, signed in to the same Apple Account you bought it with. To change or cancel a subscription, tap Manage subscription in Muninn’s Settings or open your App Store account settings. For refunds, use Apple’s refund request; for other billing issues, email us with the approximate purchase date, but never send payment-card details.
