Delete your Mealheim account

Mealheim is a meal library and dinner planner for iPhone, Android, and the web, operated by Norse Ventures LLC. You can delete your Mealheim account and its data at any time, in the app or by email.

Delete your account in the app

  1. Open Mealheim and sign in.
  2. Open Settings, then Account.
  3. Choose Delete Account. In the web app, choose Delete it.
  4. Confirm that you want to delete the account.

Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

If you no longer have the app

Email Norse Ventures to request deletion

Email support@norseventures.co from the email address of your Mealheim account and state that you want your Mealheim account deleted. We complete emailed deletion requests within 30 days.

What is deleted

  • The spaces you own, with all meals, plans, tags, and photos in them. Members of those spaces lose access too.
  • Your membership in spaces other people shared with you.
  • Your sign-in, including your email address and sign-in sessions.

When you delete your account in the app, this data is deleted immediately from our live database and storage.

What is kept

  • Spaces that other people own and shared with you. You are removed from them, but the spaces and their contents stay with their owners and other members.
  • Data in your own iCloud account from earlier versions of Mealheim. It lives in your iCloud account, not on our server, and we do not delete it.
  • Purchase records held by RevenueCat and by Apple, Google, or Stripe, under their own policies. For Mealheim Pro bought on the web, these include the email address you checked out with.
  • Emails you have sent to our support address, kept only as long as reasonably needed to answer your request and meet legal obligations.

Mealheim Pro subscriptions

Deleting your account does not cancel a Mealheim Pro subscription. If you subscribe to Mealheim Pro, cancel it where you bought it: in your Apple Account subscription settings on your iPhone, in your Google Play subscriptions, or, for a subscription bought on the web, with Manage subscription under Settings > Mealheim Pro in the web app, before you delete your account.
