    How to call a game

    1. Pick 75-ball or 90-ball, whichever your cards are for.
    2. Press Call next number. The caller says it, and it lights up on the board.
    3. When someone shouts bingo, read their numbers against the board. Undo takes back a number called by mistake.
    4. Playing in a big room? Press Big screen on a laptop connected to a TV or projector.

Get Herald for your phone and TV

Herald does the same on a phone or tablet, and more: it calls without a connection, keeps the game if the screen locks, shows the board on a TV through Chromecast and prints paper cards. Both games are free. Herald Pro, a one-time purchase, adds automatic calling, a number range of your own and more callers.

Coming soon to the App Store.

    Questions

What is the difference between 75-ball and 90-ball bingo?

75-ball bingo is played mostly in the United States and Canada, on cards of five columns headed B, I, N, G and O with a free space in the middle, so each call names its letter: B 7. 90-ball bingo is played in the UK, Ireland, Australia and much of Europe, on tickets of three rows and nine columns, with wins for one line, two lines and a full house.

How do I show the numbers on a TV?

Connect a laptop to the TV with a cable or by screen mirroring, open this page and press Big screen. The board fills the screen and each new number shows full size for a moment. Space or Enter calls the next number, and Esc leaves the big screen.

    Are the numbers random?

Yes. Each call is drawn from the numbers not yet called, every one equally likely, by your browser's cryptographic random number generator. Nothing is sent to a server.

What if I close the page by mistake?

The game is kept in this browser. Open the page again and carry on from the last call. New game clears it.

    Do players need cards?

Yes. This page calls the numbers; players mark their own cards or tickets. Herald, the app, prints different paper cards for each player.
